Just a quick note of thanks and appreciation for your excellent service in selling our Sun Valley house.
In a hot market, a home can sell itself—but not necessarily for $30,000 over the asking price. That’s what you got us—in one week. This is the first time we’ve sold a house. That experience has given us the confidence NOT to try this on our own. We know that selling a home requires the talents and knowledge of a good real estate agent. Anyone can put up a for-sale sign. But knowing how to price the house (too high is as bad as too low), dress it up, and market it is a skill and an art. We certainly would be at a loss in negotiating with prospective buyers and their agents. This is when you want a real pro, and that’s you, Shane. You took the time to sit down with us and explain your style, while making sure you understood what we wanted and expected. Lo and behold, we had a match.
To anyone looking for a solid, knowledgeable, reliable agent, I recommend Shane. He comes from a real estate family and is, despite his youthful looks, himself a longtime realtor. He looks energetic and is energetic. But he doesn’t waste any of that energy. He is efficient, constantly fielding offers. Dear Shane:
It is with sheer joy that I write this letter to tell you how happy we are to have finally moved into our new home. We are absolutely ecstatic that this moment has arrived!
I honestly don't know what we would have done without you. Quite frankly, if it wasn't for your perseverance, we would still be waiting for the lender to issue loan docs to our buyer! ! You alone made the whole deal happen. Bill and I simply cannot express the magnitude of our appreciation. It is not often that we work with someone who really cares as much as we do.
You also had a complete sense of the type of home and neighborhood that we wanted. Before we put our house up for sale, we had driven all through Woodland Hills and West Hills, or so we thought! It is amazing that you brought us into this unknown wonderful little enclave in the hills, a perfect spot for us!
It was pretty scary when we thought we might lose our new house over the problem with the slab but you stood your ground and negotiated a great deal for us. Again, we are eternally grateful to you, Shane.
We hope that we can continue to repay you with referrals in the future. I have a feeling that we will stay put for awhile.

Dear Shane,
I am definitely a convert from the "For Sale by Owner" mentality. After 6 weeks of telephone calls from real estate agents and bargain hunters when selling my Sherman Oaks Townhouse I knew it was time to hire someone to work with me to get my home sold.
Along came Shane to make it happen. I felt extremely comfortable with him immediately. Call it chemistry, call it good luck, it worked! You read the changing market like a pro, convincing me to list at a price much higher than I was anticipating. The day my home went into the multiple listing the offers started coming in.
The information went into the multiple listing on Friday and on Monday I accepted an offer that was for more than my asking price. Everyone was happy!
I wish all your clients this same good experience. I know the exposure my listing received played a big part in this success story. I was not getting this exposure when I attempted to sell my home by myself.
